INDIA
India, officially the Republic of India (IASTBhārat Gaṇarājya),[20][21][c] is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country (with over 1.2 billion people), and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west;[d] ChinaNepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; and Myanmar (Burma) and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; in addition, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islandsshare a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.

JAMAICA

is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles. The island, 10,990 square kilometres (4,240 sq mi) in area, lies about 145 kilometres (90 mi) south of Cuba, and 191 kilometres (119 mi) west of Hispaniola, the island containing the nation-states of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is the fourth-largest island country in the Caribbean.[6]
Previously inhabited by the indigenous Arawak and Taíno peoples, the island came under Spanish rule following the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1494. Named Santiago, it remained a possession of Spain until 1655, when England (later Great Britain) conquered the island and renamed it Jamaica. Under British rule, Jamaica became a leading sugar exporter, with its plantation economy highly dependent on slaves imported from Africa, followed later by Chinese and Indian indentured labour. All slaves were fully emancipated in 1838, and independence from the United Kingdom was achieved on 6 August 1962.

Nicolás: Hello… Welcome to Ireland, this wonderful country. In here, you can find many great things, From great people to rainbows and Shamrocks, Golden pots, wonderful stories, elfs and lots of interesting legends and myths.
Santiago: (Mira a Nicolás) You’re right my friend, Ireland is one of the biggest islands in Europe, it also has many things to offer you, I invite you… Come on!
Narrador: Once upon a time, there was a normal Irish family, they were together having dinner, at the same moment, they were talking about wonderful and strange things tipical from Ireland.
Family: The family is together having dinner…
Mother: My dear husband, today we have a great visit, that’s why we are having a special dinner. Some of our relatives came to share with us this day. We had long time without visits, I feel glad to receive them.
Father: Really? I didn’t expect that today, but I’m glad to receive them. I have so much time that I don’t see my brothers in law, my brothers, It is great to remember good times next to the people who you lived them with.
Daughter: Oh yeah, I want to listen to those old stories which I used to listen to when I was Younger.
Son: I remember that my grandpa told me those stories all the time. Those about elfs with Golden pots, I wanted to have the hat of an elf, it may have powers… hahahaha
Grandpa: My grandson… (mirando a Steven) I feel glad because you remember those stories that I used to tell you when you were very Young, my father told me about them when I was your age.
Mother: yes, daddy. Those elfs dress in Green, with beards and hats. They are short. They carry out a pot with Golden coins, they speak so funny… (suspira) Great times!
Grandpa: Hahaha… My dear sons, our lives as children were so different, we enjoyed listening to our parents and grandparent talking about those stories at the light of the night… (suspiro) those old times…
Daughter: I do not want to wait anymore… Please, my dear grandpa, tell us more.
Son: Oh yeah… Elfs, Golden pots, rainbows… are they all real?
Andrés: They must be real because humans invented the legend, it means that they had to see them anywhere. I remember that I dreamed of them when I was younger…
Grandpa: Oh yeah… some people say that they are not real but I remember that once I saw an elfs in the forest, it was dark but I’m sure.
Uncle Samuel: Hey hey… How can I forget those moments, we Played the elfs, we used to look for shamrocks to make it more real… We thought that if we got their hats or clothes because we wanted to be magical… jahahaahah
Narrador: The family is happy talking about past times…
Andres: Oh yes… Our lives were easier and more relaxed.
Grandpa: Do you all remember the story about the hunters and the Golden pot?
Everybody at the same time: How are we going to forget that…
Ya todo empieza a girar sobre los leñadores (aparecen en el bosque hablando y cazando la supuesta olla de oro de los duendes)
Isaac: Golden pot… Golden pot… Where are you…?
Rafael: Where are you…? We want to see you… come here…
Santiago con una olla dorada escondido…
Narrador: The elf is hidden because he knows that the hunters want to be steal his gold…
Isaac: Hey… (le dice a Rafael) Be careful, this forest is so dark (mira alrededor el bosque oscuro)
Rafael: Don’t worry… I will be right!
Daniel: (Lobo escondido) Mmm… What a delicious food! (Empieza a rondar a los cazadores) Maybe they are looking for the Golden pot… That’s what brings me food so often…
Santiago se mueve silenciosamente…
Rafael e Isaac: Did you feel that? Se dicen mirándose al mismo tiempo
Mientras los cazadores buscan en el bosque…
El narrador dice: The hunters are getting inside the forest a Little bit more each time else… meanwhile, the Wolf (Daniel) is hidden waiting for the opportunity to get his food… (the hunters)
La Familia sigue sentada en la mesa como si nada, en ese momento los que están actuando son los leñadores…
Daniel: I wonder how tasty they are… I will let them get deeper in this dark forest, when they cannot see each other, I will eat them one by one… (Dice con ojos brillantes y juntando sus manos haciendo referencia al plan perfecto)
Rafael: Who’s there?
Isaac: Is there anybody here? Elf… is it you?
Rafael:(en tono irónico) We want to see you… we want to talk to you…
Santiago: I think I will go out here before they find me…
Nicolas (a los lejos le señala a Santiago con la mano… Vente, Vente) Santiago corre y se pierde en el bosque.
Nicolás: Our treasures are just for people who deserve them, those hunters do not deserve to have such great things. They surely deserve to be eaten by the Wolf.
Narrador: The hunters were eaten by the Wolf, he ate them wildy without leaving any bone.
Narrador: The family had dinner together, they enjoyed that and shared great moments. The hunters were killed by the wolves.

Salomé: Lesson/Message: It is normal that we want to be rich, it is normal that we want to have lots of valuable things but I wonder something… do we all deserve that? Sometimes we struggle to reach all we want, some other we just sit down to wait for coming opportunities. This is something ashaming, If we fight to get what we want it will be much more worthy for us. I make this relationship with the Golden pot, it does not matter how much we think we deserve, what matters is that we have in our heart.

August: Grammar focus (Present perfect, Types of paragrphs)

Hello, hello my students... hope you're doing really well. This time we will be focusion on...

Present perfect

Hello hello my dear students... Hope you're really fine and with the same attitude as always. This time we will be working on something interesting...

July

Can: Ability and Permission

  • We use can to talk about ability. The negative of can is cannot (contraction: can’t).
Can you swim?
He can play the guitar.
can’t open this bottle.
Can you meet me tomorrow morning?
  • We can use can to ask for permission (we also can use may and could).
Can I borrow your dictionary?
Can I use your pen?
Can I ask you a personal question?
Could is less direct and more polite than canMay is more formal (and some people think it is more ‘correct’) than can or could, but can and could are more common.
  • When we talk about things that are already permitted or not permitted (e.g. when there is a rule or a law), we use can / can’t (we may aslo use be (not) allowed).
You can’t smoke in this room. (You aren’t allowed to smoke in this room).
You can get married in Great Britain when you are 16. (That’s the law)
The children can go to bed at 9 o’clock, but they can stay up later on Saturdays. (The parents have decided this)
